How does Nissan’s e-Pedal work?
Nissan’s e-Pedal is a revolutionary piece of technology that turns the accelerator from being a normal pedal into an e-Pedal. Wondering what that even means? It means that drivers will be able to use the accelerator to accelerate, decelerate and stop completely. The technology even works on hills, bringing the vehicle to a complete stop regardless of whether you’re on an incline or a decline.
The automaker estimates that the e-Pedal can be utilized for 90% of driving needs, which makes driving in heavy traffic or making a long commute easier. It also reduces driver fatigue because drivers can use one pedal for the vast majority of their accelerating and decelerating needs instead of constantly switching between two pedals.
