Running out of gas on the road within Youngstown city limits is a misdemeanor. Sure, it is a safety concern, but man, it seems like adding insult to injury. Honking when passing
The Ohio Driver’s Education Manual states that you must honk your horn any time you are passing another vehicle. This kind of makes sense as it lets the other driver know you are about to pass, but it is odd, nonetheless. We aren’t sure if there are actual penalties for failing to honk while passing, but if there are, we’re all in trouble.
Excessive honking in Fairview Park
Fairview Park, OH is home to another honking law, and we can get behind this one. It is illegal to honk your horn “excessively.” What does “excessively” mean? Well, that’s at the law enforcement’s discretion, but for the most part, it means just don’t honk your horn a bunch of times and disturb the peace.
