The Best Value on the Road: 2015 Nissan Versa Sedan

Review of the 2015 Nissan Versa sedan

A lot of people are excited about Nissan’s new line up of vehicles for the 2015 model year. One car that people have been especially excited about is the 2015 Versa sedan. This little car is packed with a lot of big new features that has everybody from our staff and the community talking. However, the features aren’t what have everyone is so excited about, it’s the price, because the Versa sedan is one of the lowest priced new compact cars on the market. We decided to do a review of the 2015 Nissan Versa sedan to show everyone why we think it is such a great new car.

A lot of people think that if they want a brand new car, with all the new technology, features and the factory warranty, that it will cost them a lot of money. However, Nissan is helping to prove those people wrong with the Versa. The Nissan Versa starts at just $11,990 for the 1.6 liter manual transmission version of this car. You can get into an entry level automatic transmission version of this car for just $13,490.

The highest level trim version of the Versa sedan is still only $16,890 and comes with a lot of great available options. On this model you can get a tech package for an additional $800 cost. The tech package comes with: a rearview monitor, NissanConnect with navigation and mobile apps and Sirius XM traffic and Sirius XM Travel Link. The tech package also includes a 5.8 inch color touch-screen display with enhanced voice recognition for navigation and audio. This version of the Versa also comes with 16 inch aluminum alloy rims.

Not only is this car affordable to buy in the first place, its even more affordable to drive once you own it. Thats because this vehicle gets amazing fuel economy. For the highway, the Versa gets an EPA estimated 40 miles per gallon. In the city, this vehicle gets an EPA estimated 31 miles per gallon.

Nissan has made both exterior and interior changes to the Versa for the 2015 model year. On the outside of the vehicle they’ve reshaped the fascia and added some more chrome to the front end. On the inside of the vehicle they’ve added a new steering wheel, a reshaped center council and new white lighting to the instrument display.

This may not be the fastest car on the market and it may not have all of the bells and whistles that some of the higher end cars have. However, it costs less than half the price and you still get a lot of good features and a factory warranty. It also offers a very smooth ride and a decent amount of interior space for a compact vehicle. Overall, we can honestly say that the Nissan Versa sedan is one of the best value vehicles on the road.
