Nissan’s Project Innovation Competition
Any of our long time readers know that all of us here at Matt Castrucci Nissan Dayton OH feel that Nissan is an innovative and forward thinking company. They continually design industry leading vehicles every year by refusing to get complacent, thinking outside the box, and anticipating the needs of the public. A great example of this is their newest competition being done in partnership with Microsoft. It is being called Nissan’s Project Innovation Competition.
For this competition Nissan and Microsoft are looking for up and coming engineers engineers and product designers from any background. The great thing about this competition is that anyone can enter it. It will be open to everyone, even students. Nissan is just looking for good ideas to help them make even better vehicles.
There are a wide range of project submissions that will be accepted for this competition. Everything from safety systems, to entertainment systems and more. Any in-car technology that will improve the driving experience will be considered.
The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to take a trip out to Seattle and San Diego to get a chance to work side by side with Nissan and Microsoft experts at their development facilities to get the chance to learn them.
Also, the top three best submissions will be invited to attend a two day event in London where they will compete against one another, to develop the most innovative solution to a current automotive problem. They will also receive help from a team of specialists during the competition at the event.
Here at Matt Castrucci Nissan Dayton OH we really like the fact that Nissan holds competitions and events like these because it not only helps the brand become more innovative, but it also helps give people just starting out in industries like engineering and product design the chance to get some real valuable experience with successful companies like Nissan and Microsoft.
Entries for this competition will be accepted until November 12, 2014 and can be submitted at this link: https://competitions.promotigo.com/nissanprojectinnovation
