Nissan Murano Hybrid American release date
Hybrid technology is only becoming more popular and for good reason. Hybrid vehicles are fuel efficient and are just as powerful, if not more so, than their gasoline-powered counterparts. Nissan is continuing to move in this direction and debuted the Nissan Murano Hybrid at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. While there is currently no news on a Nissan Murano Hybrid American release date, we are hopeful that this incredible vehicle will come to the States soon.
At the show the new Nissan Murano Hybrid made its debut alongside the Lannia sedan, which will only be available in China. Powered by a supercharged QR25DER gasoline engine, 15kW electric motor and compact Lithium-ion battery, the new Nissan Murano Hybrid is well-equipped. The Nissan Intelligent Dual Clutch System controls the hybrid engine setup.
Nissan didn’t reveal too much about the new Murano Hybrid and features, fuel economy figures and other performance details are still under wraps. The Nissan Murano Hybrid will go on sale in China this summer and the highly anticipated details are expected to be released during that time.
A hybrid version of the Nissan Murano sparks another saga in the journey of an incredibly successful vehicle. Not only does the 2015 Nissan Murano have a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety after good crash test ratings, but the crossover SUV also earned the title of No. 1 in Affordable Midsize SUVs in the U.S. News & World Report 2015 Best Cars for the Money list.
