Is the 2020 Vision Gran Turismo the next GT-R?
The Tokyo Motor Show is this month and Nissan has something special in store. It has brought to life none other than a brand new racer called the 2020 Vision Gran Turismo. It’s sophisticated, dynamic and is impressive. But is the 2020 Vision Gran Turismo the next GT-R?

It’s very possible. Nissan has stated before that it is working on the next-generation GT-R so this could be it. But nothing is for sure. What we do know is the 2020 Vision Gran Turismo concept first made its appearance in 2014 in the PlayStation3 driving simulation game Gran Turismo 6. Now Nissan will bring that sharp racer to the real world at the Tokyo Motor Show, October 30-November 8. There the 2020 Vision Gran Turismo will appear alongside Nissan’s Teatro for Dayz concept and a variety of other exhibits from the auto maker.
At the show we’re hopeful that Nissan will reveal more details about the next GT-R. One that many experts believe will be a hybrid version of the current GT-R’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine. While we won’t argue with that setup, it would also be nice to see something unexpected under the hood. Only time will tell!
