There’s nothing like listening to your favorite song on your daily drive. In fact, it’s difficult to imagine not being able to do that today. The technologies in modern vehicles today are so advanced there’s no reason to not have your music library, navigation and contact list right at your fingertips. Whether you’re already familiar with how to connect your smartphone to your vehicle or just need a quick refresher, here’s how to use Bluetooth in your Nissan.
How to connect your smartphone to Nissan’s Bluetooth
To get started, turn on your smartphone’s Bluetooth setting. Then push the “talk” button located on the steering wheel. The Nissan’s Bluetooth technology will then ask you if you would like to connect your phone. Affirm this verbally and then the system will ask you to connect with the vehicle’s Bluetooth via your smartphone. Find your vehicle’s (sometimes under “My Car”) Bluetooth on your smartphone, hit “connect” and you’re good to go. It’s really that simple!
This step-up is common for most Nissan vehicles, but sometimes can vary. If you run into any problems, double-check Nissan’s website and search for your vehicle and smartphone model. From there you can see if there are any special instructions for setup. Really stuck or just need someone to walk you through it? Give us a call here at Matt Castrucci Nissan!
