How safe is the 2016 Nissan Rogue?

Safety is first and foremost at Nissan and the 2016 Rogue is one of the newest vehicles to show just that. Just how safe is the 2016 Nissan Rogue? Recently the crossover SUV earned a four- out of five-star rating in crash tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In fact, the 2016 Nissan Rogue received four stars in the front crash test, five stars in the side crash test and four stars in the rollover crash test. Overall, impressive markings for the brand new 2016 Nissan Rogue.

In 2014 the Nissan Rogue received a full, dynamic redesign that resulted in top marks from industry experts. Not only that but the 2014 Nissan Rogue received the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) highest award, Top Safety Pick+, after good performance in crash tests. After various top awards and recognition, the Nissan Rogue earned the 2015 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award.

Because it is a carryover model, it’s unclear if the IIHS will conduct crash tests on the 2016 Nissan Rogue.
