Blue Rock State Forest has a public-access fire tower that offers 360-degree of fall foliage. The leaves are expected to look the best near the third week of October, but we encourage you to keep an eye on Discover Ohio’s Fall Color Report, which is frequently updated to reflect current leaf colors.
Peak Fall Colors: Mid-Late October
Sycamore State Park is known for being heavily-wooded, meaning you’ll see all types of fall colors when the leaves start changing. And the state park’s bike trail runs right through the foliage, giving you plenty of opportunities to add your fall foliage picture to Instagram’s #OhioFall17 tag.
Peak Fall Colors: Early October
In the heart of Amish Country, buckeye trees drape over narrow roads and surround corn fields, making a beautiful fall view. In fact, Holmes County was named one of the 10 best places in the country to view fall foliage by National Geographic, so you know you’re in for a treat.
