Best Green Car Value and Nissan Versa

The award-winning 2015 Nissan Versa is on a roll and recently claimed the No. 1 spot in the American Automobile Association’s (AAA) Best Green Car Value list. The competition consisted of 80 vehicles and a scoring system based on 13 categories. Not only did the coveted title of AAA’s Best Green Car Value go to the Nissan Versa, the hatchback version of the sedan called the 2015 Nissan Versa Note earned second place on the list. A win-win for Nissan.

Maybe one of the 2015 Nissan Versa sedan’s greatest achievements is it easy beat out hybrids and other strong competitors in AAA’s Green Car Guide. With an EPA estimated fuel economy of 31 city and 40 highway, it’s easy to see just why the sedan is so popular. In addition to being incredibly fuel-efficient, the Nissan Versa has been a best-seller for some time and the hatchback Nissan Versa Note makes up half of Versa sales.

Aside from individual recognition the Versa sedan and Versa Note hatchback have received, Nissan has been recognized as a manufacturer for its dedication to building fuel-efficient vehicles. In fact, in 2014 the Environmental Protection Agency named it the most fuel-efficient full-line automaker.

The 2015 Nissan Versa sedan starts as low as a MSRP of $11,990 and comes equipped with a variety of high-tech features. Standard and available features include Bluetooth phone connectivity, keyless entry, 5-inch display screen, full power accessories, USB/iPod interface and much more.
