Next Generation GT-R Rumors
Nissan’s iconic supercar is better than ever for the 2015 model year and has had a lot of people in the industry buzzing. However, the new changes were not enough to improve sales numbers and that has put the GT-R in jeopardy of being discontinued for future model years. Currently Nissan is only moving about 90 cars in the United States and 60 in Japan per month. In fact, Nissan’s CEO Carlos Ghosn said that he no longer has any interest in making cars that do not sell large volumes of units. This has really put the pressure on Nissan engineers and product planners to make the GT-R more desirable to consumers for next year.
