Good people of Dayton, the day has come where we must say good-bye to one of our own. We all know and love Nissan Cube near Dayton OH, but as all new 2015 Nissan models are being introduced, the Cube is being discontinued throughout Canada and the United States in 2015.

In this case, the Cube’s finest asset might have been its main downfall. The square shape is cute and fun, but just is not what most drivers are looking for a car right now. Is it a sedan or van? Life was simple in 1919. Long commutes to work were not common, two-car garages were unheard of, and rush hours didn’t exist. Not only that, but owning a car was about as strange as owning a jet pack today. People didn’t worry about gas prices in 1919 like we stress about it today, but if they did they could breath easily because gas was only 25 cents per gallon. The history of gas prices is long and confusing, but today we are paying almost three dollars more a gallon than we were even 12 years ago.

Today the average gas price in Dayton Ohio is $3.65. In the 1960s the gas price from 1919 had only risen about 5 cents. Today gas prices can raise more than five cents over one night.
