2019 Nissan Armada new and updated standard features
Rear Door Alert
All Nissan Armada models for 2019 now come equipped with Nissan Rear Door Alert. This intuitive system reminds drivers to get any cargo from the back seats that they may have forgotten. The system registers when a rear door is opened before a trip and if that door is not opened again after the trip, subtle horn chirps will remind the driver to check their rear seating area.
Intelligent Cruise Control
Also newly standard for 2019 is intelligent cruise control. Intelligent cruise control is like regular cruise control, only it allows the driver to set their desired following distance. Radar technology determines the distance between the Armada and the vehicle in front of it and adjusts the speed accordingly. The system can automatically control the throttle to accelerate or decelerate. 
Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning
These active safety features are equipped on every trim level of the 2019 Nissan Armada. Both of these systems work together to do what they can to prevent accidents from happening. The forward collision warning will alert you if you are approaching an obstacle too quickly and, if necessary, the automatic emergency braking system will activate. This can completely prevent a collision or, at the very least, limit the damage of an accident.
