2019 Nissan Sentra engine options
Like many Nissan vehicles, the Sentra comes with a couple different engine choices. The base motor is a 130-horsepower, 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder engine. This can be equipped with either a two-speed continuously variable transmission or a six-speed manual. With this engine, Sentra drivers can average up to 37 highway mpg*, 29 city mpg*, and 30 combined mpg*.

Drivers who aren’t afraid to sacrifice a little efficiency in the name of horsepower will want to check out the SR Turbo and NISMO trim levels. These models come fitted with a 188-horsepower, 1.6-liter turbocharged I-4 engine. The same transmissions are available.
