2018 Nissan Maxima cold weather PSI recommendations

Having your tires inflated to the correct PSI (pounds per square inch) is vitally important, especially in winter months when temps are below freezing. Air is a gas, so as temperatures get lower and lower, air contracts and your tire pressure dips below the recommended PSI. Tire pressure drops between one and two pounds for every 10-degree drop in temperature, which can make a huge difference despite being a seemingly small discrepancy. This is not only bad for fuel economy, but it also makes you susceptible to blowouts or other costly repairs.  So, how inflated should your tires be in the winter months? Take a look at the chart below to find out!
