2018 Nissan Altima engine power 

As you read in the chart above, each trim level features a 2.5-liter I-4 engine. Trims S, SR, SV, and the 2.5-liter engine SL all produce a respectable 179 horsepower. The 3.5-liter engine SL trim, however, features a V6 motor that produces an impressive 270 horsepower. Trim levels S through SL (2.5-liter) all produce a torque of 177 at 4,000 RPM, while the more powerful 3.5-liter SL’s torque is a solid 251 at 4,400 RPM.
