2016 Nissan TITAN XD Endurance V8
The new Endurance V8 for 2016 is a 5.6-liter engine making 390 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. Even though it’s the same size as the outgoing engine, it’s got so many tweaks and improvements that there’s almost no comparison. The two big features are Variable Valve Event & Lift (VVEL) technology and Direct Injection Gas (DIG). VVEL adds power and improves the throttle response. DIG improves the fuel economy and reduces emissions, while giving better performance when you put the pedal to the metal.
