June is flying by and the Fourth of July is right around the corner. Do you know what you’re doing this holiday? Luckily there are plenty of fun events happening right here in Montgomery County and the surrounding area. Aside from the parades and 5K runs, one big question is “Where are some good spots for watching 2015 Fourth of July fireworks in Dayton, Ohio?” Here are three local fireworks displays happening nearby this holiday.

Centerville-Washington Township 42nd Annual Americana Festival

Located 20 minutes outside of Dayton, Ohio, this township celebrates Fourth of July in a grand way. The Festival includes a 5K run, parade, street fair and fireworks. Check out the festival’s official website here.

The evening festivities kick off at 8:30 p.m. at the Centerville High School Stadium located at 500 E. Franklin Street in Centerville, Ohio. Enjoy food from vendors and music from Soft Rock 92.9 and settle in for the Miami Valley Hospital Fireworks show – synchronized to music – starting at 10 p.m.

Dayton Lights in Flight Fireworks

Join the Dayton community for an evening of food, music and fireworks on July 2 in Riverscape MetroPark located at 111 E. Monument Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. The event starts at 5 p.m. and is free to the public. Be sure to stick around for the fireworks that start at 10 p.m.

Englewood Fireworks Celebration

Be at Centennial Park located at 321 Union Blvd., Englewood, Ohio, on July 4 at 10 p.m. for the whole big red, white and blue Independence Day shebang. Or stop by at 7 p.m. to listen to patriotic tunes like the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” from the Englewood Civic Band and pick up some glow rings for sale from the Englewood Fire Association. Either way, it’s going to be an incredible evening in the park!

Fairborn July 4 Parade & Fireworks

Stop by the Fairborn Community Park at 691 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd. in Fairborn, Ohio, for a grand parade, fireworks, food, fun and free entertainment. The parade starts at 10 a.m. and fireworks are at 10 p.m. Best part is it’s located only 20 minutes outside of Dayton, Ohio!
