Automakers are constantly introducing new technologies into their vehicles, and while it’s great to have the option to use new features, the learning curve can be somewhat extreme. Nissan has begun implementing NissanConnect℠ to many of its vehicles, so we’re giving you a step-by-step tutorial for how to use the system.
Setting up the NissanConnect℠ system
To start, you’ll need three things: a smartphone with a data plan, a compatible Nissan vehicle and an active NissanConnect℠ subscription. You’ll want to download the NissanConnect℠ app from your smartphone’s app store and connect your smartphone to your Nissan using Bluetooth®. Once you have the app downloaded and connected to your vehicle, open the app and click “Create Account” after accepting the terms and conditions. Once this has been completed, you’re all set to begin using the NissanConnect℠ system.

What does NissanConnect℠ do?
NissanConnect℠ allows you connect your favorite apps to your vehicle, so you can listen to Pandora®, iHeart Radio or SiriusXM® Satellite radio all while in your car. You can also use the system’s voice recognition to make and answer phone calls, send preloaded text messages or even search Google, all while keeping your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. NissanConnect℠ also has a built-in navigation system that will give your turn-by-turn instructions to your destination.
